client participation

Change up:  These are slightly more than studies and slightly less than completed.  Take a look at each to see if one might suit.  If not, use Photoshop or like to quilt together the parts that you do like.  If you want something all together more abstract, zoom in and select, then save.  I will “finish” from the results.

Have fun!

texture

Filed in paint hen , the henhouse

The first time I saw this texture show up, I thought, “No, thank you.” But it’s growing on me; reminds me of shapes a bug might make. That’s good, right?

is that will-dust beasts?

A question from today. And another comment related to beasts: “We need to serve that dog up to someone and get a cat!”

But no, it’s a wildebeest. Or actually, a man-wildebeest hybrid with a side of compare & contrast.

moving pictures

It’s difficult to concentrate on anything when everything is potentially an animation.

This poor girl, I tried to “grow” her hair in gifboom, but having a heck of a time downloading!

tech week

One step forward and two steps back all week long, but completed my first stop motion, got real comfy with my iPhone, a glue gun and this cinemagram:

pakwan indian cuisine

I love a surprise discovery and tonight reinforced that there is so much to uncover in Savannah.

Co-hosted by Pakwan Indian Cuisine and South Magazine, we joined to celebrate the restaurant’s anniversary.  The cooks obviously placed great care in preparing the food and drinks (unique flavors and fresh!) as well as the decor.  Not only were there great celebratory outfits, but the restaurant bestowed gifts for all upon departure.  And this was not your run of the mill parting swag.

Here’s mine;  intriguing - must learn more about it!  I’ll be back for take-out.

sassoon-sendak connection

What’s more important to a young girl than smart stories and smart style????  These are the men who, in part, make us who we are.  I hate it!  Two great icons in two days.

Huzzah and bravo to the bold and complex men who respectively did a bang-up job!  And a nice reminder that we all want to be wild - but with tame, or at least low maintenance, hair!

savannah children’s museum

As a rain clouds filed in, I visited the site of the Savannah Children’s Museum today.  I’m very excited to see this project completed.  The space and current project underway is inspiring and well conceived and nearly executed.  While for kids, I found myself thrilled by the prospect of spending time in this environment.  There will also be SO much for adults to enjoy as the site boasts and makes the most of some of Savannah’s best in terms of infrastructure, human/cultural resources and contemporary user interface.
